Policy Transition Statement

Welcome to the Aequalis Education Trust Policies Section

Aequalis Education Trust (formerly the Alvechurch CofE Academy Trust) was originally incorporated in 2016. In anticipation of four new schools joining our Trust from 2025 onwards, we proudly transitioned to our new name in 2025 to reflect our expanded and collaborative community.

As part of this exciting period of growth, we are currently undertaking a thorough and comprehensive review of all Trust policies. Ensuring that our policies are robust, inclusive and reflective of our shared values requires careful drafting, consultation and approval. We aim to complete this significant piece of work by the end of the first full academic year of the newly expanded Trust.

During the Transition Period
While we work diligently to update our documentation, any policy areas that have not yet been formally approved under the Aequalis Education Trust name will continue to rely on the established policies that were in place under our former name.
